ok so i can do the smokey eyed look and i am kind sorta MAYBE ok totally dress preppy and how do i not look like SCARY GOTH/EMO/PUNK ROCK? what colors should i wear? How should i do my hair? pics would be nice

Smokey eye looks the best with black or grey, but you could always try it with browns and golds.

I'd like to point out that smokey eyes doesn't make anyone look scary unless the person applying it is incredibly stupid and handicapped in the make-up department. Its fashionable, not horrific.

But with the brown/gold it'll still show and look cute with any outfit, so wear what you normally do and wear your hair however.
