It would be cool to not go for a look, you know, but to do your own thing. If you try to look something, then you would not be being yourself and you would look like crap. So wear whatever YOU like, not what other people think is cool.

skinny jeans are in...yes...just be very careful about how you wear them, or they wont flatter you at all.

another style right now is washed denim...and have you seen those long chain necklaces with large pendants on the ends? those are very easy to wear-and go with almost anything.

as for makeup...umm i'd say...that for the everyday woman, natural looks are in, like earth tone eyeshadow, just a gloss on the lips, and a light pink blush. but with this natural look, lots of mascara looks nice (not clumpy, just full)

um big earrings are also in, not saying like down to your boobs big, just like a nice hoop (not bracelet sized or anything) or a full chandelire (but not long) or big button earrings, and all in big bright colors.
