My sister..."emo"?

my sister is 12 years old and she believes that she belongs in the "punk"/"emo" group in school. she not only tapes up Hot Topic bags but wears waaay too much eye make up. she doesnt even know the difference between the Beastie Boys and Rage Against the Machine. Yet she thinks shes a major fan of both. HELP!

i know that in high school she will be put in her place and what not but i am tired of dealing with all of her ****! shes only 12!

-ignore her

-sabotage all of her "emo" stuff

-make fun of her maybe she will stop

-let her wear your clothes and maybe she will go back to normal

-make fun of other people that look/dress like her and maybe she will so how dumb she actually looks

First of all ignore the girl who said to make fun of her. I think she's above me. That will just make her upset and you know the stero-type for being emo. So that will encourage it.

All you can do is let her be what she is. What she is doing now is somthing that she needs to go through so she can grow out of it. If you push her out of it, what you're really doing is pushing her farther into it

Let her get into highschool and grow out of it there. she's not wierd. Just a little immature. Mabye ignorrant. If she's a "poser" as u put it. Then she'll grow out of it. But seriously to call someone a poser...it's really kinda lame. Because then ur putting a label on what ever she's trying to be.
