ok i want a new look. dont call me a poser because im not. i want like and eclectic hippie look. i like stars and colors like purple and blue and silver. i want a vibe that says im laid back. what kind of clothes should i get? please no overly expensive things. any shoe suggestions, for both summer and winter? NO VAANS! im not a punk/xkater i want my own style. i also want to try piling bracelets up my arm for an eclectic boho look, any ideas where i can get funky bracelets/ jewelry like this? MAKE UP HELP IS NEEDED TREMENDOUSLY. im new to makeup, i want to keep it simple and easy but still see a difference. i have dar almoost black eyes and hair and tan/bronze skin.

It shouldn't be hard to find 70s trends. Flare legged jeans/hipsters were a big hit, and if you want an alternative, try looking for some baggy yoga pants. Long, flowey skirts, short denim shorts, and jumpers were in too. Alot of geometric, graphics, and flower patterns. If you were a 'earthy hippy' the basic colors would be gold, burnt orange and green.

Babydolls, tunics, and peasant shirts can all be found and are relavent to that era. As for jewelry, it was either the 'nature' look (wooden or glass beads, leather straps),dangle and hoop earrings, and gold metals. Purses were usually long and baggy/boho style.

Shoes...Converse Hi-Tops were big, along with Nike, Ugg-ish boots (not the brand-but something like it), platform and high heels, wedges, almost anything but flats (they didn't come around til the 80s). Oh, and in coats, a Levis denim jacket was THE thing, plus suede and faux fur was in-along with wool.
