Yes they do "rock", but I think it's better when a person doesn't try to look the scene, rather actually is the scene. Now mind you, the clothes do look cool, but I doubt the guys are comfy in them. Do you really think the guys actually are emo? Do they write poetry, songs, hurt themselves, starve themselves to fit the skinny jeans, or look depressed all the time?

I like the clothes, some of the music is good too but I really hope the true meaning of emo isn't actually what it is.

There is a huge difference between being emo and being goth or punk. I love punks---real punks.

People who conform to fashion of the Emo, Punk, or Goth scene aren't real--they just look cool.

I bet you're about 12-15. That fad is over just so you know. I used to think it was hot but you haven't met a real normal guy/man. Wearing girls pants and all that is fine for rebelling but I think it makes them look a little too homo AND I think it kind of promotes being homo's, I used to have a bf that did and he's like...not exactly the most masculine guy. Like the girl said above, they may look cool and I do like the music but they're just conforming to the scene, it's kind of stupid if they're TRYING to be like that whether than just be themselves if that happens to be how they are, Idk, whatev.

Nah. Guys that are constantly depressed just aren't my cup of tea, you know? I mean... sure... embrace the gloom of life every once in a while, because it's unhealthy to always be happy, as well... but spending all of your time moping is unecessary. A guy has to be fun to be around for me to feel anything for him. This situation was presented to me not long ago, actually... a guy I'd had a crush on suddenly changed his personality and started being a jerk. He was always wallowing in self-pity. I no longer like him. That's just my opinion, though.

You're so right! Because they are so creative in their appearance and interests, they are also more creative/passionate in art and sexuality. I LOOOOOOOOOOOVE guys with long hair! My first tattoo was done by a seriously hot rocker guy with hair down to his butt...I was so attracted to him I let him get creative with my second tattoo 2wks later. It doesn't look as good, but the view was hot at the time! ;P
