Thanks, I prefer wearing prep things like Abercrombie and American Eagle but my friends wear like all punk things and they dont think it matters if u have long hair and wut u wear. I think it affects your ability to get jobs and everything like that. What do you think, do you think it matter what someone wears or acts or looks or do you think it doesnt matter. thanks

Yes to a certain extend people form an impressions from the way u dress in about 6 seconds.Of course u must wear appropriately when going for interviews.

in most jobs that i can think of you have to "conform" in some ways to work there. there aren't many places where you can totally be yourself. such as a professional business (banks, law firms, etc) and even places with food service you can't look a certain way.

but in your personal life you can be and do what you choose. i don't care what someone wears (just shower, PLEASE!) i am more about who they are and what they are about.

long hair/short hair, beard/no beard, glasses/no glasses, a%26amp;f/punk: who really cares? just the shallow ones

I affects what TYPE of job you get. If you don't mind having stale mate jobs then dress punk but if you want to get a decent job then the prep look is fine. Keep your original style whether punk or prep, as long as it's you.
