Honestly, everyone is getting the emo/punk style hair cut. I would recognize that, and be the smart one who leaves her hair alone because everyone is going to look the same and you're going to be the one who stands out and is more interesting. After all, once everyone looks the same, isn't that when you want to change your look again?

Just get it layered for now. but I would wait until you get into 7th grade to do new hairstyles with your hair. yeah and don't dye your hair at your age. wait till your 16. highlights is okay but you are a little too young.

keep it simple....no high maintenance....shoulder length with some layering for bangs...if you want different...just use hair accessories....longer hair you can do more with...simple is better...
