Hi.
Alright, so, i'm a girl. I dont like labels but i guess if i had to be labeled id be labeled as emo/punk @_@ like Im the classic, black clothes skinny jeans stereotype, but i have ghostly white skin, and (dyed) platinum blonde hair.
I (and my parents) have questions on piercings.
1. is it trashy/inappropriate/gross for a girl to have her lip pierced?
2. how do i convince my parents to let me get my lip pierced? (my moms worried about what her friends might think and my dad worries about scaring)
3. if you have light skin, how easily do lip ruing scars show up? can it be covered easily with makeup?
Help is GREATLY appreciated :)

Lip piercing questions?
Go for it. Im going to get one too. Maybe snake fangs though. (one on both sides of lip.) instead of getting a ring. Get a stud, it doesn't look as trashy. Get it dun just below you bottom lip. It wont hurt at all. The clamp is the most painful part. If you have fuller lips and get it dune below (in the center) of your bottom lip. then you cant see the scar if there is one. And if there is a scar it will look either really white or pink, or purple. Im not sure what factors that. But if it starts to scar put neosporin on it and use Maderma. It will go away.
Hope this helped. :D

Lip piercing questions?
1. I hate to tell you but yes. I do believe that it looks unattractive and trashy to have a pierced lip. It is only an opinion, but I believe it is true.
2. I recommend getting your ears pierced 2 or 3 time instead, that way you are still sticking to your "style" but not looking so inappropriate.
3. I know from personal experiences that scars near your lips are NOT easily covered up with makeup. It takes a lot to make it even a little unnoticeable.
GOOD LUCK!
