she chews gum alot! (here, it's preppy for some reason)

she's tell's people off alot, and speaks her mind.

she HATES the punk style.

well everyone says prep is the opposite of goth , and since she hates goth then yeah. polos is def preppy, because thats wut ralph lauren sells and raulph lauren is like the king store of preps. lace camis- u buy them at hollister ae and abercrombie mostly, and thats preppy- not WAY raulph lauren kind of preppy but its pretty prep. the whole gum chewing thing- i dont think that defines ur style. ive seen lots of goths chewing And preps chewing-so forget that. the hair and makeup thing-total prep!! but it doesnt matter if ppl think shes prep or not. i think its cute- lots of ppl do. it only matters wat she thinks of herself. dont worry, if ur worried about her being prep, well..dont worry!! it matters about what she thinks and is happy. dont be concerned.

Welllllll, if the inside is reflected on the outside, I'd say she's preppy. But, if she's your bff, she's obviously got a bazillion good qualities that are way more important than those other things. So, if it's buggin' you that she's coming across preppy, have a chat with her letting her know that that is the way she's appearing to other people, but that you love her just the way she is. If it doesn't bug you, ignore everyone who is being so judgemental.
